How it works

Each line amount = quantity × rate. The subtotal is the sum of all lines. Tax is worked out line by line as line amount × that line's tax %, then grouped by rate, so an invoice can mix rates. With GST (CGST + SGST), each group is split in half; with IGST, VAT or sales tax it is shown as one line. Total = subtotal + all tax.

The heading reads 'Tax invoice' when you enter your tax number and choose a tax type; otherwise it reads 'Invoice'. For rupee invoices, the total is also written in words in lakh and crore. 'Next invoice' raises the number by one and clears the customer and items, and the due date defaults to 15 days after the invoice date. Your business details can be remembered on this device.

How to use it

  1. Enter your business details, logo and tax number, then the customer's details.
  2. Set the invoice number, dates, currency and tax type, then add each item.
  3. Check the preview and press Save as PDF / Print.
