How it works

The ten questions cover Google Maps listing, a fast mobile website, reply time to enquiries, WhatsApp Business, regular social posts, one shared customer list, digital billing, online payments, asking for Google reviews and knowing your monthly numbers. Each Yes scores 10, Partly 5 and No 0, so the total is out of 100.

A score of 80 or more is marked digital leader, 50 to 79 getting there, and below 50 just starting. Your next three steps are chosen from your answers: every No comes first, in question order, then every Partly. Each step is a single practical action, such as claiming your free Google Business Profile or adding a UPI QR code to your bills.

How to use it

  1. Read each of the ten statements about your business.
  2. Tap Yes, Partly or No for each one honestly.
  3. Read your score and the three steps to take next.

Questions

What is digital readiness for a small business?

It means customers can find you online, reach you quickly, pay you easily, and that your records are digital. This check looks at ten everyday basics rather than complex technology, so any shop, school or service business can use it.

How is the score calculated?

Each of the ten questions scores 10 for Yes, 5 for Partly and 0 for No. The total out of 100 sets your level, and your No answers, then Partly answers, become your next three steps.

What should I do first if my score is low?

Start with the first step the tool gives you. Quick wins often include claiming a free Google Business Profile, switching to WhatsApp Business and replying to enquiries within an hour. Retake the check after a month to see progress.

Is this check free and private?

Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser. Your answers stay on your device unless you choose to copy the result, share it on WhatsApp, save a PDF or send it to us.
