How it works
Interactions = total likes + total comments + total shares and saves on the posts you counted. Interactions per post = interactions ÷ number of posts counted. Engagement rate per post = interactions per post ÷ followers × 100. Counting several recent posts gives a steadier figure than looking at one post alone.
The tool uses a rough guide: under 1% is low, 1% to 3.5% is average and above 3.5% is high. Smaller accounts usually score higher than large ones, so compare yourself mainly with accounts of a similar size. Some tools divide by reach instead of followers, which gives a different number.
